Ask us to delete it

Send an email:

• To: ruvara.app@gmail.com
• Subject: Delete my data
• From: the email address on your Ruvara account, so we know it is you

If you also want the address removed from the early-access list, say so in the same email. If you only want the early-access address removed and have no account, that is fine too.

What happens next

• We confirm we have your request within 7 days.
• We delete everything within 30 days of confirming, and write to tell you it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and your email address.
• Your business details: name, phone, trade, suburbs, licence number.
• Your brand kit, including your logo and any photos, files or notes you added to teach Ruvara your style.
• Your post history and your credit and level records.
• Any access token linking Ruvara to your Instagram or Facebook account, and any data collected through it.
• Your address on the early-access list.

What we keep, and why

• Billing records, if you ever paid for a subscription. Australian tax law requires these to be kept for seven years. They hold the transaction, not your photos or your brand kit.
• Backups roll off on their own schedule and are fully overwritten within 90 days. Nothing is restored from them into live use after a deletion request.

Photos on your phone

Ruvara builds posts on your device, so most of your photos were never ours to delete. Deleting the app removes the ones Ruvara stored on the phone. Anything you already saved to your camera roll or posted to Instagram is yours, and stays until you remove it yourself.

Disconnecting Instagram or Facebook

You can cut Ruvara off from Meta at any time without emailing us. In the Instagram or Facebook app, open Settings, then Apps and websites, find Ruvara, and remove it. That revokes our access immediately. To also have the data we already collected deleted, send the email above.

Deleting the app

Press and hold the Ruvara icon on your iPhone, choose Remove App, then Delete App. That removes the app and the photos it kept on the device. It does not by itself delete anything held on our side, so send the email if you want that gone too.
